Jean-Claude (1935-2009) and Christo (1935-present) are a married couple, who are born on the same exact day of June 13th, 1935. Together, the two create large-scale installations, from wrapping a coast with sheets of white fabric to surrounding entire islands with bright fuchsia material. Often, their projects are so massive that they require an extensive budget as well as years devoted to permit-related paperwork.
